The Caledonian Cheese Company operates a 'Quality First' policy. That commitment to quality has led to success in a number of internationally-recognised award schemes including 'Best Cheddar' at the British Cheese Awards 2001, and a Gold Medal at the 2001 World Cheese Awards.

The creamery is registered to BRC (British Retail Consortium) Higher Level and has achieved full ISO9002 accreditation.

The creamery laboratory is CLAS registered.

All farms which supply milk to the creamery are National Dairy Farm Assured.
